Dorney Park - Talon Sign
Talon was built at Dorney Park for the 2001 season.  It is a B&M inverted coaster... for the uneducated that means it was built by the Swiss company Bolinger and Mabillard, and the train rides below the track.  It's a fantastic ride and in my opinion, it nearly rivals the Raptor at Cedar Point

This picture was taken close to sundown.  I'm standing right in front of the Talon sign.

Taken: September 2001

Talon at Dorney Park going through the second heartline roll. Talon in the first helix.
Cedar Point - Skip/Raptor
Ok, so I'm not really on a roller coaster in this photo, but Cedar Point's Raptor is in the background of this shot.  Raptor is one of my top 5 favorite coasters.  It's an amazing ride.  I was on the midway ride crossing the park in this picture.

Taken: July 2001

Raptor at Cedar Point.  It is one of the largest inverted B&M coasters. This is the Great White coaster at Morey's Piers.  It is a wood coaster built on a steel frame.
The Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Great Adventure.  This is one of several Arrow "mega-loopers".  This is the train passing through the first teardrop loop after the drop. Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure leaving the station.  Medusa is a floorless coaster. Medusa exiting a heartline roll and heading up towards the cobra roll, passing the on-ride photo in the process.

This is me standing near the end of Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags America.  The train is going through the last bunny hops and the on-ride photo. Steel Force at Dorney Park entering the final series of bunny hops. Steel Force climbing the lift hill.

This is Storm Runner at Hersheypark.  It is an Intamin launched or "rocket" coaster. It's not the initial hill of Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood that is the most fun (as pictured here), but rather, the second hill, which careens down the side of a ravine and is much longer than the first hill. One of the first coasters I was ever "terrified" of, the Comet at Waldameer Park in Erie, PA.  As a kid, I went to Waldameer many times for school or family trips.  I was always scared of the lone coaster they had there.  Nowadays, it's so small compared to many of the others I've been on, but it's still fun.
