| This is the most recent photo of my family. Sad to
say, pictures like this only seem to happen when there are funerals, and this picture was no
exception. This picture was taken July 2007 at the funeral of my maternal grandmother.
This was the first time in many years that the four of us had been together. |
This picture of my family was taken August 1998, around the
time of my maternal grandfather's funeral.
Yes, both my brother and I have goatees in this picture, but trust me, the similarities
(other than coming out of the same womb) pretty much end there. |

| This photo of my mom's side of the family was taken August
1998 when all of us had returned home to North East, PA for Grandpa's funeral. It was an
intense four days at home, but it was good to see all my relatives. Especially my
cousins whom we used to hang out with as kids. Now the four of us are all grown up (some
married) and it's great fun to sit around and re-tell the stories of our antics as kids. |
In October of 1994 my father's side of the family held a
surprise 50th anniversary party for my grandparents. It was the first and only time (in
my lifetime) that almost the entire family was assembled in one room -- only three
grandchildren had not been able to make it. |
Summer 1999 I took a cheap flight to Chicago to visit some
college friends and family. I spent a little bit of time with my cousin Mark and his
wife Meg. Mark and I had a great time talking about everyone in the family. As
kids, the four of us (my brother and I, and Mark and his sister) used to have a lot of fun
together. Most of the time we laugh about how my brother and I used to get into fights. |

| Both of my grandmothers were a part of my life since I was born, since they both
lived in my hometown. I think I've been extremely fortunate to have a
large portion of my family living in my hometown, or close by. It certainly makes family
gatherings a whole lot easier to organize. Taken Easter 2000 |
This is the last photo of myself and my Grandma C.
She finally passed away in March of 2006. Her health had been declining for years, but
she was always a strong Italian woman.
As at the previous three grandparents' funerals, I sang during the funeral service.Taken

In August of 1998, my mother's father passed away.
While this certainly wasn't the first death I'd ever seen in my family, it certainly was the
"closest" to me.
I sang at the funeral and was also a pallbearer with my brother, two cousins, and their
spouses.
I will never forget Grandpa and the things he taught me. Taken Spring 1998 |

| Just after Labor Day of 2002 my father's father passed
away. He had suffered for many years with Alzheimer's. This picture is of my
grandmother and my father and his three brothers. They are in order from oldest to
youngest, left to right. My father is brother #3. |
This picture of my paternal grandparents was taken at their
50th wedding anniversary party in 1993. |
This is me with my cousin Gregory. Can you tell we're
Italian? |

| These three photos were taken at my Grandma C's funeral.
Pictured here are my parents, my dad's three brothers and their wives. Taken: March 2006 |
Here is my family. Unfortunately, my brother was not
able to make it back for the funeral due to flights being cancelled in Florida where he lives.
I was looking forward to the four of us being together again for the first time in many years. Taken: March 2006 |
For the first time since the anniversary party in 1994,
almost all of the grandchildren on my father's side of the family were together (except for my
brother which I already mentioned). Also in this photo are several of the
great-grandchildren. Taken: March 2006 |
